Use My Lice Oil or My Cocomint Oil and massage onto dry scalp and saturate. This process will trap and slow down the lice bugs. Use oil generously on the entire scalp.
Step Two
Obtain a spray bottle or use hands to spread conditioner on the ends of hair. Put 3 squeezes of Mint Conditioner in the spray bottle. Add warm water to the spray bottle & shake the mixture. Spray the conditioner mixture on the ends of hair to soften. Next, use a wide-tooth detangler comb on the hair and comb out tangles.
Step Three
Section hair horizontally starting from the bottom and place a layer of mousse directly on the scalp to cover and saturate hair. Do this for each section. Leave product to penetrate hair and scalp for 5 minutes. DO NOT RINSE. Repeat horizontally sectioning hair and apply a second layer of mousse and leave it on for an additional 5 minutes to loosen nit glue. DO NOT RINSE.
Step Four
Next, section hair from ear to ear. Clip up the strands in sections. Then, use the lice comb and comb each section of the hair in all 4 directions; up, down, left, and right. With each combing movement, you will want to wipe the comb on a white paper towel to see the status of the removal. This process will drag out the nits and lice. Remember that the comb must touch the scalp during the combing process. Make sure to comb each and every section of the hair. You will comb until the paper towel swipes become completely clear of any nits or lice. Apply more product as the hair dries out. Sleep in oil overnight. (Use a shower cap to protect clothing and bedding.)
Step Five
In the morning, wash hair with either My Clarifying Shampoo or Mint Shampoo. Lather, rinse, and repeat until all of the oil is out of the hair. Then use Mint Conditioner to restore hair's natural luster. On dry hair, mist with Mint Spray to safeguard against lice. Repeat all steps 5 to 6 days later. Once a week Take a Peek
Continue using Mint Shampoo & Conditioner two times per week for 2 weeks, then use only 1 time per week. Once a week, check every family member to ensure that there are no nits or lice. To do this, use our Lice Eliminator Comb to sweep through wet, detangled hair and wipe on a wet paper towel.
